Aave Postponed Launch Of Institutional Investor Platform

Aave announced the launch of the Aave Pro Institutional Platform earlier this month. Now it has become known that the platform has been renamed Aave Arc, and its launch will take place in a few weeks.

Initially, it was supposed that the platform should be launched before the end of July, however, the developers decided to postpone the launch. However, the delay is not too long – Aave CEO Stani Kulechov announced that the launch of Aave Arc will take place in the coming weeks.

Aave Arc aims to attract institutional investors to the DeFi space. The Aave protocol allows users to lend their funds to other users and receive interest. Aave Arc will also allow institutional investors who are constrained by regulatory requirements to access such lending opportunities.

Private liquidity pools will be launched on the Arc platform, in which only authenticated users will be able to participate. The return on such private pools is expected to differ from public pools.

“I think one of the big challenges for Aave Arc is to create a low-risk market for institutional investors. This will allow them to participate in the DeFi industry, ”Kulekhov said.

Earlier, Stani Kulekhov said that the developers of the Aave project are working on a decentralized alternative to the social network Twitter, which will run on Ethereum.
