A large hotel in Michigan, United States, was abandoned and drew a lot of attention after videos circulated on the web.
According to “The Mirror”, an urban explorer from Detroit who visits abandoned places and has a profile on Tiktok published some videos of the hotel in Michigan.
In the first images he visits the place in 2021, but does not mention the name of the hotel. Due to the consequences of the covid-19 pandemic, the establishment was closed in 2020, but it was still in perfect condition, with furniture in the hall and drinks in the bars.

However, the same profile made a new visit, this time in 2023, and the scene it found was very different. Before, what was in perfect condition was now completely destroyed by invaders, according to the publication. The lobby was filled with thousands of pieces of debris and the furniture on the upper floors looked like they had been thrown into free fall.

In an interview with “The Mirror”, the explorer described the scene: “It was like being in an episode of “The Walking Dead” without the zombies. Everything was left behind, ”he said.
“It’s very interesting, but disturbing to know that all of this was wasted,” lamented the video’s creator.
The video has over a million views. In the comments, people lament the destruction: “Very sad how people do this,” said one. “People have no respect for anything,” said another.
