The fourth season of “Abbott Elementary ” will feature a crossover with another production of Disney “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia “. The meeting between the series had already been mentioned by the creator and star of “Abbott Elementary”, Quinta Brunson during the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 but official confirmation only came last Thursday (3).
The news was announced by the actor and creator of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, Rob McElhenney who shared on social media a photo of the meeting between the casts of the two series on the set of “Abbott Elementary”.
Since Brunson’s announcement, fans have already speculated about a possible crossover between the series, as both belong to Disney and are set in the city of Philadelphia in the United States.
Despite confirmation, It is not yet known whether the crossover will only happen in one episode of “Abbott Elementary” or whether it will also be explored in an episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.
The fourth season of “Abbott Elementary” premieres on October 8 in the United States — the date has not been confirmed in Brazil. The 17th year of “It’s Always Sunny” does not yet have a premiere date. In Brazil, both series are available for streaming via Disney+ .
