LAST UPDATE: 12.21

Two yachts of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich have found refuge in southwestern Turkey, which does not apply Western sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, according to Turkish media.

After the 140-meter yacht My Solaris that docked yesterday in Bodrum (Bodrum), the yacht Eclipse, which is presented as the second longest in the world, with a Bermuda flag, moored today a little further south, in the port of Marmaris, after a long journey in the Mediterranean, according to ship monitoring sites.

A group of Ukrainians riding an inflatable approached My Solaris in the port of Bodrum to protest the presence of Abramovich yacht in Turkish waters.

“You are not welcome here. Not in the war in Ukraine. Out the Russian ship, out!” protesters chanted Ukrainian flags.
