German auto giant Mercedes-Benz has unveiled two new versions of the Mercedes-AMG EQE electric sedan.

The Mercedes-AMG EQE is the second battery-powered production car from the AMG subsidiary, after the AMG EQS sedan announced last September.
Both cars are built on the Mercedes EVA2 platform, which also underpins the EQS, the smaller EQE. The EVA2 platform is designed for medium and large vehicles.

The base version of the Mercedes-AMG EQE 43 provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h. The electric power plant has a power of 476 hp. and a torque of 858 Nm.

The Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h with the Dynamic Plus package (3.5 seconds and 220 mph without the package). Power is 626 or 687 and hp. respectively, the torque is 950 or 1000 Nm.
Batteries of 90.6 kWh provide from 444 to 533 km of range, depending on the specific version. 170 kW charging is supported. In 15 minutes, you can charge a car for 180 km.

Mercedes plans to launch the Mercedes-AMG EQE in the US in early 2023. The company did not disclose pricing information. However, we can assume that it will cost less than the AMG EQS sedan and EQS, which sell for more than $100,000.
