There are new interesting details about the Avatr E11 electric car (in another translation from Chinese the model is called Avita 11), which is being created jointly by Changan, Huawei and CATL.
The creators describe the Avita 11 as “an emotional intelligent electric vehicle.” The new car will offer decent dynamics, from 0 to 100 km / h, it can accelerate in less than 4 seconds. The promised power reserve is 700 km.

Now it became known that the Avita 11 car is equipped with 3 lidars, which can detect cars, obstacles and people at a distance of up to 140 meters and cover 300 degrees. 6mm radars can detect all this at a distance of 210 meters and have a medium and long range of 360 degrees. There are also 12 ultrasonic radars with a range of 5 m, which are installed on the front and rear bumpers. Finally, the vehicle has 13 cameras for visual detection of possible obstacles at a distance of 150 m with 360-degree coverage.
The developers emphasized that the car “sees” much better than people. It can handle challenging environments such as night, low light, backlighting and tunnel alternation of light and dark with ease. It can also capture markings, traffic lights and road signs, static and dynamic obstacles, as well as low and small objects.

The car will be officially launched in the second quarter of 2022, with the first production batch being delivered in the next three quarters. The first car rolled off the assembly line in November.
