It could be a meme, but it’s not. On the morning of this Thursday (25), a truck carrying a mobile home and another vehicle along the I-485 interstate highway in Charlotte, a city located in North Carolina, in the United States, fell and knocked the structure down in the middle of the lane.
The accident caused the house to fall on top of some cars circulating on the track. In addition, about four people were injured, but without serious damage.
All nearby roads were closed for practically the entire day, consequently causing detours and delays in the journey of drivers.
The company responsible for building the house that was destroyed on the road, issued a note pronouncing on the accident. “A haul truck carrying a prefab home was involved in an accident on I-485 near Charlotte, NC. We understand that no team members were injured in the accident. Safety is our company’s top priority and we are working closely with local authorities to learn more.”
On the internet, people commented on the unusual accident, reacting and generating memes on Twitter:
