Accident with bus in the interior of Paraná leaves at least 7 dead

An accident involving a bus left at least seven dead in the interior of Paraná, this Monday (2).

According to the Samu Oeste Intermunicipal Consortium (Consamu), the first information that arrived from the teams helping at the scene indicate that, including the seven dead, there are 15 victims in total. There is no information on the profile of the victims and the condition of the injured.

Previously, Consamu even reported that eight people had died, but later corrected the information.

The authorities highlighted that there is difficulty in communicating with rescuers at the scene.

Consamu also informed the CNN that the bus involved in the accident belongs to the Health Department of Pato Bragado, and was transporting adults and elderly people.

The case happened around 6 am, on the BR-467 road, between the municipalities of Pato Bragado and Marechal Cândido Rondon – about 80 km from Cascavel and close to the border with Paraguay.
