The bus of the country duo Conrado and Aleksandro overturned on the access to Rodovia Régis Bitencourt, at km 402, in Miracatu (SP). At least six people died in the accident, the State Highway Patrol and Fire Department said on Saturday.
The bus came from Tijucas do Sul, in Paraná, to São Pedro, in São Paulo. The vehicle overturned after the left front tire burst.
According to the firefighters, seven vehicles and 18 professionals work in the service.
In addition to the deaths, 11 people were rescued by concessionaires and ambulances in the municipalities of Miracatu, Juquiá and Registro. Two people were not referred because they were not injured.
The runway is closed at km 402, in Miracatu, towards Curitiba. Traffic towards São Paulo flows slowly.
The names of the victims have not yet been released. There is no confirmation that the pair were inside the vehicle.
