The movie “Accidental Killer” entered the Prime Video catalog this Thursday (12). The title stars Glen Powell (“Everyone But You” and “Top Gun: Maverick”) and Adriana Arjona (“Blink Twice” and “Andor”).
In the plot, a teacher who lives an apparently quiet life, teaching and working part-time with the New Orleans police, abruptly has to go through for one assassin for hire to help the authorities arrest those who hire him, and ends up breaking protocol to try to save a desperate woman.
The director is five times Oscar nominated filmmaker Richard Linklater (“Before Sunrise” and “Boyhood”). The film is inspired by a true story revealed by Texas Monthly. The script was written by Linklater and Powell, who worked together for the fourth time.
