In Rio Branco (AC), the current level of the Acre River reached 16.20 meters, this Monday (26), and the waters continue to rise. The Hydrological Alert System (SAH) forecast is that the river level will reach 16.40 meters throughout this Tuesday (27). If reached, the mark will enter the top 10 historical highs.
The mark of 16.40 would take 10th place, exceeding the level of 16.37 meters, registered on March 29, 1979, according to the State Civil Defense. The highest river level ever recorded in the capital of Acre was in March 2015, when waters reached 18.40 meters. See the historic highs:

The governor of Acre, Gladson Cameli, declared, this Sunday (25), a state of emergency in 17 of the 22 municipalities in Acre due to flooding caused by rising river levels and streams.
This week, security forces and government secretaries met to plan strategies for action and relief for the more than 11,000 people affected by the floods.
During the meeting, authorities discussed the situation in the capital in relation to joint actions with Rio Branco City Hall, support for other municipalities, leveling of information, police actions in flooded areas, according to Civil Defense.
Jordão remains one of the most critical cities, with 80% of the population affected by the waters of the Tarauacá River.
In the ten most critical cities, there are 58 public shelters serving 5,402 homeless people and 5,720 people are homeless.
