Realme today officially unveiled the Buds Air 2 earbuds, which appeared on the web a few days earlier. The novelty has been updated like Realme Buds Pro, and the most important of the innovations is the presence of an active noise reduction system. For the $ 45 non-noname model, this is a significant plus.

Realme Buds Air 2 is made in the spirit of Buds Air Pro and attracts attention with a two-tone design. The hardware platform is based on an R2 chip with Bluetooth 5.2 support. According to the creators, it allows you to increase the autonomy of the headphones by 80%, and also to reduce the delay in sound transmission by 35%.

The latter is directly handled by the 10mm carbon-coated diaphragm drivers, an approach reportedly delivering richer bass and clearer sound than a conventional diaphragm. In terms of bass, the Buds Air 2 has a Bass Boost + mode, over which the American duo from The Chainsmokers conjured up.

The active noise cancellation system in Buds Air 2 is complemented by a technology to eliminate extraneous sounds during calls, it is called Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). The headphones also received a touch control system, an automatic shutdown function when removed, a connection mode for two devices and the so-called Game Mode, in which the delay in audio transmission is reduced to 88 ms – this is the lowest level among all Realme wireless headphones at the moment and much less. than the 120 ms of its predecessor.

Realme did not disclose the battery capacity of the headphones, but reported autonomy parameters: 22.5 hours with active noise cancellation on and 25 hours without it. There is also a system of quick charge replenishment: for 120 minutes of listening in just 10 minutes of charging.

Interestingly, with all the improvements, Realme removed the wireless charging system from the Buds Air 2, but this is not surprising, since the older model Buds Air Pro does not have it either.

Realme Buds Air 2 are IPX5 protected and are available in black and white. The cost of new items is $ 45, sales in India (in this country and the device was presented) will start on March 2.
