Danish police on Wednesday (4) detained activist Greta Thunberg at a protest in Copenhagen, Denmark, against the war in Gaza, said a spokesman for the student group that organized the demonstration.
Six people were arrested at the scene at the University of Copenhagen after about 20 people blocked the entrance to a building and three entered, a police spokesman told Reuters.
Police declined to confirm the identities of any of those arrested, but a spokesman for Students Against Occupation told Reuters that Thunberg had been detained.
A photo of Thunberg published by the Ekstra Bladet newspaper showed Thunberg wearing what the newspaper said were handcuffs.
