The French director and an actor Mathieu Kasowitz is hospitalized in serious condition after an accident he had with motorcycle in his area Parisas it became known from the local authorities.
Kasowitz was taken to the Kremlin-Bicetre hospital, near Paris, according to authorities in the Essonne region, where the accident happened. His condition “causes concern”.
A police source told AFP that the 56-year-old artist was taking a motorcycle driving lesson at the Linas-Montlery circuit.
Kasowitz, creator of the award-winning “Hate” (1995), has acted in dozens of films (“Ameli”, “Café au lait”, “Fifth Element”, “Amen” by Kostas Gavras and others).
The last film in which he participated, “Visions”, a psychological thriller by Yann Gozlan starring Diane Kruger.
