On May 31, Ignacio López Tarso, a Mexican actor, was hospitalized in an emergency due to respiratory difficulties caused by bacterial pneumonia.
He is currently reported stable and has already communicated with his followers through social networks: “Dear friends, friends and the media, I appreciate your concern and expressions of affection… Fortunately I am very well cared for, recovering quickly.”
Juan Ignacio Aranda, son of the actor, mentioned that López Tarso is in stable health. However, he will have to stay in the hospital for seven days, during which time he will be under observation and treated with antibiotics.

The actor also received an Honorary Doctorate in Arts and Humanities from the University of Ixtlahuaca (CUI) in the State of Mexico, in recognition of his career of more than 70 years in film, television and theater.
