Actor Jason Momoa was involved in a traffic collision with a motorcyclist early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), near the city of Calabasas, California, in the United States.
“Mr. Vitaliy Avagimyan was driving his motorcycle westbound on Old Topanga Road when his motorcycle crossed the double yellow lines on the east lanes, directly in the path of Jason Momoa’s vehicle,” according to a CHP press release.
“Mr. Avagimyan and his motorcycle collided with the left front of Mr. Momoa. As a result of this collision, Mr. Avagimyan was thrown from his motorcycle. After the collision, Mr. Momoa got out of his vehicle to help Mr. Avagimyan and was able to signal a passing driver to call 911,” the statement added.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries, while the “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones” actor, who drove a 1970 Oldsmobile, was not injured, the CHP said.
THE CNN requested comments from Momoa’s representatives.
