Have you ever had to work with someone and just can’t get along with them? It happened to me almost everywhere: in high school, at university, in the editorial office. In short, after a series of (mis) adventures I wondered if the problem was me. But recently, fortunately, I discovered that I am in good company. Why apparently it also happens to the actors of our favorite TV series. How many are those who (unbeknownst to us) in front of the cameras have to pretend to love each other, exchange passionate kisses, support each other as only bffs can do and then gossip each other behind and hope never to see each other again? Many. Would you like to know more? Here’s who we’re talking about:
MISCHA BARTON E BEN MCKENZIE, THE OC
While filming the teen drama, the troubles with the interpreter’s law Marissa Cooper (think that in 2007 she was arrested for drunk driving and possession of marijuana) have made several of her colleagues turn up their noses, including Ben McKenzie, who in the series played the role of her boyfriend, Ryan Atwood. Obviously, the production did not like it either, which – it is rumored also because of his superstar attitudes – decides to make the character Mischa Barton, throwing all the fans of the couple into despair.
PATRICK DEMPSEY E ISAIAH WASHINGTON, GREY’S ANATOMY
The reason for the fight between Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek Shepherd) and TR Knight (Dr. O’malley) with Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke), which culminated in his resignation from Grey’s Anatomy in season 3: the thread pic.twitter.com/gWSUcCdh9d

It is no mystery that among the actors who wore the role of Derek e Burke do not flow good blood. The rumors about a possible clash between the two (apparently led to the farewell of the character played by Isaiah Washington) were born a few years ago, after an alleged homophobic insult against him T.R Knight, (George O’Malley) defended with the sword drawn from Patrick Dempsey. Last year, after an interview with Ellen Pompeo – who had defined the first years of the set as “toxic” – Isaiah Washington took the ball to write yet another tweet against the Doctor Strangelove, blaming him for the tense weather while filming Grey’s Anatomy.
BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH E MARTIN FREEMAN, SHERLOCK
Elementary, Watson. But no. If in the TV series they are an iconic and explosive couple, with the cameras off the interpreters of Sherlock Holmes and his trusted right hand, Dr. Watson, they don’t get along so well. Apparently, there has always been a lot of rivalry between the two, especially since they both wanted the lead role, which was then touched by Benedict Cumberbatch. This, of course, has led the British actor’s career to take off much faster than that of the co-star (complete with nominations for Oscar) and even doubling his cachet for the series. Obviously, the colleague of the set does not like Martin Freeman.
AMERICA FERRERA E LINDSAY LOHAN, UGLY BETTY
America Ferrera was the star and undisputed star of Ugly Betty, hilarious TV series ABC of the early 2000s. The very famous Linsday Lohan should have appeared in 6 episodes of the third season, decreased to 4 after a hard fight with the colleague of the set. It seems that the former starlet of the Disney has created quite a few problems, complaining about the hotel, smoking 24/7 and even going so far as to destroy his own dressing room. The friction with the co-star, then, was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
KATIE HOLMES E MICHELLE WILLIAMS, DAWSON’S CREEK
The creator of the series has denied any possibility of a reunion, so for now you just have to do the rewatch on Netflix. Episode after episode, however, also think about the fact that – as happens in the very first seasons – between Joey e Just, the newcomer, it wasn’t all plain sailing off the set. According to a rumor, in fact, the fault would be Michelle Williams and his temper: during the filming, the actress allegedly verbally assaulted her colleague Katie Holmes who, however, being of a much calmer nature, had not responded to the provocations. Who knows if they became clearer …
