Last Sunday (23), actress Raven-Symoné, protagonist of the series “AsVisions da Raven”, surprised by revealing that she had psychic visions similar to those of her character.
In the comedy series, shown from 2003 to 2007, Raven is a teenager with the gift of seeing the future. Now, at the age of 37, the actress told about the similarities between them.
During a conversation on “The Best Podcast Ever,” hosted by Raven and wife Miranda Maday, the actress told listeners and guest star Keke Palmer how she connects with another version of herself.
Raven revealed that this started before her debut on the series, but unlike her character who predicts the future, the actress has feelings of déjà vu.
“There are moments where I just look and see a scene that is happening to me, or that is going to happen to me in another dimension. I feel it in my body and I’m like, ‘Hey, this is weird,’” she said.
According to Raven-Symoné, she has had this gift since she was 7 years old. When asked by the guest how this other version is, Raven said that she does not believe that she is a woman or actress like her, but she feels that they connect through a trauma that she has experienced.
“When I was younger, I had certain traumatic experiences. I personally remember after doing meditation to a level where other people would say, ‘What are you doing?’ and I was like, ‘I need to light my candles. I’m 7 years old, I know, but I need to light my candles and I need to meditate.’ I just allowed my spirit guides to help me, and even today that can happen.”, he said.
The actress returned to play the character in 2017, in the series “A Casa da Raven”. On the air so far, the story shows the character in adulthood. Now, she deals with the visions her son inherited.
Raven-Symoné has many fan clubs, including in Brazil, who follow her work and publicize the nostalgic moments of the artist as a teenager, as Raven Baxter.
