Actress Maidê Mahl, who starred in Brazilian series on streaming, is missing, according to a post by friends on social media.
She was last seen in the Moema neighborhood, in the south of São Paulo, around 3:30 pm last Monday (2).
According to reports from people close to her, at the time, the actress was wearing plaid pants, a beige overcoat, a brown beret and a beige plaid scarf. She was also carrying a backpack on her back.
Maidê was part of the cast of the production “Vale dos Esquecidos”, a drama series that premiered in 2022 on HBO Max.
The actress also starred in “O Rei da TV”, also scheduled for 2022. The series tells a story from the career of presenter Silvio Santos, in which Maidê plays Elke Maravilha. The content was made available on Star+.
The actress’s disappearance has mobilized celebrities, who used social media to spread a poster seeking information about the artist’s whereabouts.
Names such as Tatá Werneck, Camila Pitanga, Fernanda Paes Leme and Samara Felippo shared the subject.
Psychiatrist Adilon Harley Machado, a friend of Maidê, said that the actress had been experiencing mental health issues recently and was being monitored by professionals at Hospital São Paulo.
“It seems that it has worsened recently and, since Monday, we have had no information about her. We have already contacted all the responsible agencies,” reported Machado.
“We are in contact with the police, the highway patrol, the fire department, everything we can do,” concluded the doctor.
The case is being investigated by the Missing Persons Unit of the São Paulo Civil Police, according to the CNN .
