DIMEA has imposed the largest fines ever in its history, ranging from 150,000 to 600,000 and 700,000 euros. So, the service goes mainly to the “big ones” and secondarily to the “small ones”.
This was noted by the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis in his telephone intervention on a show on SKAI, referring to the controls carried out in the market for phenomena of scandal.
The minister, among other things, said:
“The DIMEA service we have set up at the Ministry of Development has been carrying out non-stop inspections and has imposed the largest fines ever in its history. The fines imposed on large supermarket chains, large wholesale chains and large warehouses range. from 150,000 to 600,000 and 700,000. ‘So, our service goes mainly to the “big ones” and secondarily to the “small ones”.
“As for the increase in the price of bread, we all realize that the raw material, namely wheat, has more than quadrupled worldwide. Wheat is not a domestically produced product, but in small quantities. The largest quantity is imported.”
– “The oven is an energy consuming business and therefore, the electricity subsidy will reach the oven as well”.
