Ad. Georgiadis: Greece ranks 3rd in the world in the Procurement Index

Greece ranks 3rd in the world in the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI). This was stated by the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, in a post on social media.

Specifically, the Minister wrote the following: “As Minister of Industry of the Hellenic Republic, I feel proud that during my tenure and under these circumstances, Greece climbed to 3rd place in the World in the Procurement Index (PMI), the leading Index for Productivity “Congratulations.”

It is recalled that the PMI Indicators provide an advance indication of what exactly is happening in the private sector economy, examining various variables, such as production, new orders, employment and prices.

PMI surveys provide participants with a free source of reliable, highly reputable business data. This timely information of the research participants enables a more complete understanding of the developments in the economy and the turning points of the economic cycle, enabling the improvement of the business planning and the strategy regarding the procurement market.
