The face who launched a thousand “yes, chef” will soon be legally single:Addison Timlinwife of the star ofThe Bear Jeremy Allen White filed for divorce, according to documents obtained by Page Six. The pair wed in a courthouse ceremony in October 2019, but have been together much longer – the two have known each other since their teens.
In January, when White won the Golden Globe for Best Television Actor in a Musical or Comedy Series, he thanked Timlin heartily, telling him, “I love you to the bottom of my bones.”
In an Instagram post following her Globes win, Timlin shared a black-and-white photo of her husband holding her statuette and recalled seeing him in drama class when they were 14.

“I love this photo because you look 14 and 31 at the same time,” Timlin wrote, “Watching you win on Tuesday was one of the most overwhelming moments of my entire life, watching you win last night while holding our two babies is really been out of this world.”
The couple have two daughters. They welcomed their first child in October 2018 and another in December 2020.
White appeared on the cover of this year’s Hollywood IssueVanity Fairwhere he talked about his breakthrough inThe Bear. Before the hit series, she starred inShamelessbut her portrayal of stressed-out chef Carmy has inspired many memes and new fans.
“I probably wouldn’t have done well if I was single or childless or just younger and dumber,” he said of being in the spotlight, “if you don’t have a foundation outside your career, it can be a ‘lonely existence’.
And he’s not even around to Google himself to witness those memes firsthand: “My mom tells me what they’re saying on Twitter, which is cool.”
