The singer Adele 36, has announced that she has no plans to release new music any time soon as she prepares to take a “big break” after wrapping up her current commitments. The British artist said she plans to slow down and enjoy some quality time with her current partner, the sports agent Rich Paul 42, and his son Angelo, 11, from his previous marriage to Simon Konecki .
The “Hello” singer, whose Las Vegas tour ends in November, is excited about a series of shows in Munich, Germany, at a specially built venue. Adele spoke to German publication ZDF about the project, which will begin in August.
“I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want to take a big break after this and I think I want to focus on other creative things, just for a while,” he confessed.
The star had recently admitted that she still has no plans to return to the studio to work on a follow-up to her album “30”, released in 2021. However, the Grammy winner, who suffers from anxiety when performing in front of large audiences, assured that, as soon as she produces new material, she will go on a world tour.
“I don’t think I’ll be writing an album for a while. But the next time I do, I’ll be coming to wherever you guys are,” he said during one of his shows at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas earlier this year.
Adele has also been open about her desire to become a mother again. During another recent performance, she said: “When I’m done with all my obligations and all my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl, because I already have a boy.”
