Adele responds to homophobic comment on her show: “Don’t be ridiculous”

Adele 36, responded to a homophobic comment made by a fan during his show in Las Vegas, in the United States, this Saturday (1), the date that marked the first day of LGBT+ Pride Month.

In a video, which is circulating on social media, it is possible to hear the moment when a person says: “Pride is bullshit”. Then the singer responds, saying: “You came to my damn show and said that Pride is shit? You're stupid?”

Afterwards, Adele is greeted by applause and adds: “Don’t be so ridiculous. If you don't have anything nice to say, shut up. All good?”

Adele is known for interacting with her audience during her shows in Las Vegas, where she is holding a residency. Last year, she reprimanded a security guard for “disturbing” a fan and asked security staff and those sitting near the fan in the audience, who were apparently complaining about him, to “leave him alone.”

Titled as “Weekends with Adele” , performances in the city began in 2021. The singer will take a break from her Las Vegas show in August to perform a special “Adele in Munich” concert series in Germany. She returns to North America to complete her residency in November of this year.
