In an interview for the new edition of the magazine “Elle”, the British singer was discreet when talking about the status of her relationship with the American sports agent.
“Well, I’m not married,” is how she chose to answer the question of whether Paul had put a ring on her finger. “I’m not married.”
But what she’s willing to share is how she feels about Paul.
“I’ve never been in love like this,” Adele continued to the publication. “I’m obsessed with him.”
She addresses several topics in the interview, including the postponement of her Las Vegas residency at the Caesars Palace Coliseum in January, which she says is “the worst moment of my career by far.”
She refused to move on because the planned shows didn’t feel authentic to her.
“There was no soul in him. The stage setup was not right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy,” Adele said. “And maybe I tried too hard to give these things away in such a controlled environment.”
Many fans who had bought the tickets were disappointed and Adele says she felt “embarrassed” by it all. The residency has been rescheduled and will begin in November.
“I want to tell the story of the beginning of my career until now. I won’t say much about it, but the show grows,” she said. It’s all about the music, and it’s very, very nostalgic.”
