Administrative reform: server needs to be evaluated by performance, reporter tells CNN

The administrative reform, which is under discussion in Congress, will have as one of its main points the creation of a public assessment platform for public servants, said the text’s rapporteur, Congressman Arthur Maia (DEM-BA), to CNN this Wednesday morning. fair (15).

“In the administrative reform, the first thing we asked was this issue of giving every Brazilian the possibility to participate in the performance evaluation of public servants”, explains the rapporteur.

“It is unacceptable that only civil servants are not evaluated. It is the only country in the world where civil servants are not called upon to do a better job because of stability”, says Maia.

The rapporteur says that the idea is to use gov.br, which already receives access from 110 million Brazilians, according to the deputy, to make public assessments of the servers possible.

The idea is to use evaluations to retain or fire public officials, even competitive contracts. Despite this change, the rapporteur says that stability remains maintained.

“The stability is fair, we are keeping it in the project, but it has to be put into perspective”, he says. “The person who passes a competition and does not correspond to the needs, he obviously does not serve for society, for Brazil”, says the deputy.
