AE!Cozinha launches pop-up menu to eat on the sidewalk or at home

Three years ago, the AE!Kitchen conquers fans with its lean and seasonal menu, the result of the union of the young chef Ygor Lopeswho despite her young age has stints in the stars of DOM, Nerua and Quique da Costa, and the pastry chef Walkyria Fagundesspecialized by ICIF in Italy and by Le Cordon Bleu in Spain.

Walkyria has worked at the Relais & Chateau restaurant in Italy, the Westin Palace hotel in Madrid, the Épice restaurant and the Gelato Botique gelateria in Brazil. In short: two experts.

The house, with an intimate and familiar atmosphere, will close for almost a month for a renovation with the aim of renewing its identity and implementing improvements for the greater comfort of diners. During the work, scheduled to end in mid-May, the duo will not leave their fans without the gastronomic gems.

A pop-up menu, with snacks and desserts, will be available for delivery or in person, at an address next to the original, in a more laid-back style, with tables to sit on the street.

Among the requests, the AE! Dog, with homemade smoked sausage, brioche bread, aioli, homemade ketchup, fermented mustard and pickled red onion (R$31); the artisanal mortadella sandwich, prepared in naturally fermented focaccia, with house mayonnaise, arugula and grain mustard (R$ 37); the hot mix with artisanal smoked ham, brioche bread and fresh cheese (R$ 26); the choripan, with house sausage, provolone cheese, artisanal mayonnaise and salsa verde (R$38); the Lua Cheia cheese cake (R$ 35 – 4 units); and potato chips (R$12). You can still order a portion of homemade ham or bologna (R$ 25 – 100g).

To sweeten, desserts signed by Walkyria, such as brownaçu, creamy semisweet chocolate brownie, cupuaçu jelly and cocoa crumble (R$ 20); the lemon pie with white chocolate, meringue and basil (R$ 24); and the banoffee, with caramelized bananas, dulce de leche, cumaru crumble with lemon and orange zest, finished with whipped cream and cinnamon (R$18).

Among the drinks, a selection of craft beers and natural, organic and biodynamic wines.

The pop-up starts operating on April 22: delivery is open from 12:00 to 15:00, from Wednesday to Friday, and from 12:00 to 16:00, on Saturdays and Sundays, Rappi or Goomer (for pickup). In person, the house is open from 18:00 to 22:00, from Wednesday to Saturday and, at lunch, only on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 16:00.
