After the stoppage of aircrews reaches the fifth day, the strike of aeronauts will be suspended until 12:00 on Sunday of Christmas (25), said the president of the National Union of Aeronauts (SNA), Henrique Hacklaender, live this Friday (23 ), after a new proposal was submitted.
According to him, the break will occur so that professionals can vote “calmly and patiently” on the proposal presented by airlines.
In the live, Hacklaender also stated that, since the Judiciary is in a year-end recess, a possible rejection of the proposal would extend the strike state until February – which is when the Superior Labor Court (TST) returns to regular activities.
Strike
The movement of pilots and flight attendants, underway since last Monday (19), claims the recomposition of wage inflationary losses, in addition to real gains, “in view of the high prices of airline tickets that have generated increasing profits for companies ”.
The category also calls for improvements in working conditions for the renewal of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT), such as defining the start times for breaks and prohibiting changes, in addition to complying with existing limits on time on the ground between flight stages .
Last Thursday (22), the National Union of Aeronauts rejected a new salary negotiation proposal to end the strike.
