Chinese automaker Geely, owner of Volvo and Daimler AG, has unveiled the Geely Emgrand S compact crossover, which offers great equipment at a very affordable price.
Geely Emgrand S became a modified version of Geely Emgrand GS, which received new bumpers, mirrors, headlights, radiator grill and other elements. The length of the new car has decreased by 10 mm and is 4430 mm. The height and width are 1833 and 1573 mm, respectively, the wheelbase is 2700 mm.
The car received a popular interior design today with a large “floating” digital dashboard, a new gear selector. The base car costs $ 13,100, with buyers getting climate control, a rear-view camera and cruise control.
The older version for $ 16,800 adds an all-round visibility system, heated front seats, a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, auto braking systems, lane keeping and automatic headlight switching.
The 1.5-liter Volvo engine in the new car has been replaced with a 1.4-liter 141 hp engine that works with a six-speed manual transmission or CVT. A four-wheel drive version is not available.
