“The Taliban do not want women to be free, they do not want anyone to be free,” Lailuma told APE-MPE.
“I told Stoltenberg that it was a very bad decision (to leave Afghanistan), a wrong decision. When there was the international community in Afghanistan everything was different. For example, women were free to grow up, to study, to make decisions, to be involved in politics. Men do the same. Now they are not safe, they are not free, they have no rights. Women cannot leave their home without a man. How do you want me to describe this life with life a month ago? ” reports.
Born in Afghanistan, she worked as a journalist in her home country from 2003 to 2007. For a time she worked at the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They are looking for my brother because I am a journalist, I am a woman and I shout and say to the EU and NATO: Do not recognize the Taliban. “They try to do everything to be recognized by the international community.”

“I do not have access to the messages. If I had facebook live I would say do not stay at home. I urge women not to stay at home. This is a strong message for women. Get out. Raise your voices. Do not accept sharia. Do what you want. “
“The Taliban are not just a threat to the Afghan people and their neighbors,” he said. I am sure that in the future people will see the reality of the Taliban. “We do not want to see a bloody civil war in Afghanistan.”
She called on the international community to act collectively and not to leave Afghans helpless. “We want the international community to make the right decisions. To look for many different ways to make the right decisions. Not just the decisions that some big countries will make. For example the USA, the United Kingdom or some other countries. Come together, make decisions together. Not just one country – and others to follow. Unconditionally, without in-depth research, they should not recognize the Taliban.
