Tessa and Hardin are about to return. After 4, the last film in the saga written by Anna Todd (Sperling & Kupfer), will arrive in the hall on August 24, 2022 but intnto fans can end the year with a flourish thanks to the teaser trailer.
The third installment, which skipped the hall to land on Amazon Prime Video, has focused on the problems of distance because, after college, the girl wants to move to Seattle while her boyfriend plans to join her mother in London.
The actors Hero Tiffin-Fiennes and Josephine Langford (the little sister of Katherine, star of Thirteen, the Netflix teen drama scandal) had already anticipated that for the farewell there will be very romantic surprises with a high erotic rate.
Filming of After 3 e After 4 they took place at the same time, under the passionate direction of Castille Landon, so destiny has already been written, at least in the film version, not always very faithful to novels.
Fans, however, are already looking forward to the sequels, which have been announced and may involve the couple’s children, Emery and Auden. As per tradition, in fact, the book’s ending creates a bridge with the future and projects readers into the adventures of the new generations.
But let’s go back to the present and to the push and pull of the protagonists, whose tormented love now seems to have become legend (after the debut on Wattpad and the initial inspiration to Harry Styles of the One Direction).
Tessa probably makes what is the first choice regardless of her bad boy and pursues her literary dreams in Seattle. He, on the other hand, basks in uncertainties and in the meantime – almost by way of redemption – hosts Tessa’s father. The man, with a history of addiction, peeps out after almost a decade in his daughter’s life in search of a second chance, but meanwhile amplifies the misunderstandings in the couple (as seen in the third film).
Loving each other and yet leaving each other seems to be the eternal loop in which the two protagonists live and, in the very short teaser of After Ever Happy, you hear all the agony of Tessa, desperate for not being able to heal the wounds of her partner (in English she says “I’m sorry I couldn’t fix you”). What, then, will bring them back together?
In order not to reveal too much, it is enough to know that fate is once again giving us a hand: Hardin has to deal with a secret from the past while Tessa has to face a new tragedy. Their relationship, born from a cruel bet and grown up amidst a thousand difficulties, finally reaches an adult stage, which seems to have left behind its distinctive toxicity.

After: the graphic novel boasts the stroke of the artist Pablo Andrés, always under the supervision of the writer who described the event as «a unique and incredible experience». And to think that everything was born for fun, on a blackberry during the bus ride. The series, often considered a softer, more young adult version of Fifty Shades of Gray, still shares its success today.
