After allogeneic transplant, Fabi Justus details routine: “43 pills per day”

Fabiana Justus shared with his followers some details of his routine after going through a allogeneic transplant due to his diagnosis of leukemia acute myeloid.

Resolving doubts from her followers, the influencer revealed that she takes 43 tablets daily as part of your treatment.

“I don’t know how autologous transplantation works, but allogeneic transplantation (which is what I did, where the cells are from someone else) requires a lot of medication afterward,” he explained.

“There are immunosuppressants so that the new bone marrow does not reject or find the new body strange, there are liver protectors, corticosteroids, gastric protectors, medicines for nausea, antifungals and antivirals (due to low immunity), prophylactic antibiotics, magnesium… in total they are 43 pills”, he further detailed

Fabiana also spoke about the end of her chemotherapy sessions, as after the transplant there is no longer a need for this type of treatment.

“I needed some chemo (joints) to treat and eliminate the disease before going to the transplant stage. Then I did another batch of very heavy pre-transplant chemicals, which serve to 'kill' my bone marrow so I can receive a new one,” she wrote.

According to the influencer, after the transplant, other types of treatments were adopted. “But the chemicals have already played their important role and I am very grateful to them (despite the thousand side effects),” she said.

Asked by a follower about the “speed of her treatment”, Fabiana Justus also explained that acute illnesses require faster action.

“Anyway, there’s all this powder that requires a lot of people to go to the hospital (…) so, the treatment itself isn’t over yet.”
