At least 23 people were injured on Sunday night (28), after an allegory of the Flor Matizada ciranda fell, in Manacapuru, Amazonas.
The Fire Department did the initial care and sent them to the city hospital. Another three victims are in a more serious situation and were transferred to Manaus.
In the capital, the hospitals 8 de Agosto, Dr. Plato Araújo and João Lúcio are on alert.
The governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima (União Brasil), regretted the accident and offered solidarity to the families.
“I am closely following the accident that occurred during the performance of Ciranda Flor Matizada, in Manacapuru.
All my solidarity with the victims. I have made the State structure available and I am monitoring the work to care for the wounded,” said Lima.
