After asking to serve his sentence in freedom, Nardoni will have to undergo a criminological examination

After requesting sentence progression to the open regime, Alexandre Nardoni will have to undergo a criminological examination. The objective is to assess “their dangerousness, eventual repentance and the possibility of committing crimes again”.

The decision was issued at the beginning of the week by judge José Loureiro Sobrinho, from the 9th Regional Unit of the State Department of Criminal Execution (Deecrim). The established deadline is 40 days.

The exam, which will be conducted by the penitentiary's technical team, must answer specific questions from the judge and includes the assessment of the individual's personality, ethical and moral values, aggressive and impulsive tendencies, their ability to control impulses, tolerances and frustrations, among others. aspects that stand out.

MP gave an opinion against the progression of the sentence

Last Wednesday (10) the Public Ministry of São Paulo issued an opinion opposing Alexandre Nardoni's request to migrate to the open regime, which would allow him to serve the remainder of his sentence in freedom.

The MP maintained that he considers it “inadmissible” to give Nardoni freedom now as he has been in the semi-open regime for “only” five years and his sentence will only end in 2035.

Given this, the MP recommended the application of the criminological test.

Remember the case
