US internal security secretary Kristi Noem said on Thursday that Donald Trump’s government is considering taking similar measures at other universities after banning Harvard from enrolling foreign students.
Noem ordered on Thursday (22) that his department ended the certification of the Harvard University Student and Exchange Program, alleging alleged anti-Semitism and coordination with the Chinese Communist Party. Harvard University rejects these allegations.
During an interview with Fox News’s The Story With Martha MacCallum, Noem was asked if she was considering similar changes in other universities, including Columbia University in New York.
She replied, “For sure, we are … This should be a warning to all other universities to get together.”
