After his Hollywood debut with the film “Blue Beetle” the actress Bruna Marquezine 29, revealed that she will make a new national film. In the international plot, the Brazilian played the character Jenny Kord alongside the actor Xolo Maridueña who plays the student Jaime Reyes who in the film becomes the blue beetle.
In a conversation with Brazilian Vogue, Marquezine mentioned that she is preparing to record this new feature film and at the end of this year, she will launch the series “Amor da Minha Vida”, in which she acted as protagonist, producer and co-director. “I want to continue working with people I admire and feeling challenged”, she mentioned.
“I hate being that person who says: ‘good things are coming’, but it’s very special, I’m very happy. It’s a national film that I’m very excited to do”, she added.
Off-screen, Marquezine has also taken the fashion world by storm and in May of this year, she walked the Met Gala carpet. Wearing a white dress with a puffy skirt and flower appliqués on the hem. The artist opted for a classic bun, light makeup and few accessories, leaving her neck bare.
A month after the event, the actress also revealed that American Chris Hemsworth was with her before her entrance on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, in the United States.
“He was the nicest person, he started chatting: what a cool dress, the most original one so far, yours is my favorite,” Bruna recalled. “Thank you very much,” she replied, saying that she needed to get on with where she was going.
