The singer Black Gil 50, was thrown a sleepover by her family and shared photos on her social media. In a video posted on Sunday (25), the artist says that her cancer has spread to four different places.
“Yesterday my friends made another surprise for me, a pajama party in the 8° degree cold of SP! It was wonderful, these gestures warm the body and the heart!” she mentioned in her caption on Tuesday (27).
In the photos, you can still see her father, singer Gilberto Gil, 82, her mother, Flora Gil, 64 and her ex-husband, Otávio Muller, 59.
On Monday (26), Preta was discharged for the first time after resuming treatment for the disease. According to the video published on Sunday, Preta Gil will stay at home for 12 days and then return to the hospital. “My oncological treatment routine is back so that we can cure these four cancer foci that I mentioned.”
The singer explained that she was in remission, but the cancer can relapse (return) within a period of about five years. “Not only in my case, but in the case of 40% of people who have a primary cancer, and that’s what happened to me, my cancer came back.”
She then explains the locations where the disease has settled: “I have two lymph nodes, I have a metastasis that is in the peritoneum and I have a nodule, a lesion in the ureter.” The singer went to the hospital to do her routine exams, when she was surprised by the diagnosis.
