The singer from Rio Anita 31, anticipated the release of the music video for the song “Aceita” to noon this Tuesday (14). The announcement of the anticipation was made via her official YouTube channel on Monday night (13), after the first images of the new work were released and generated controversy on social media.
The singer complained about the religious prejudice she saw online after publishing photos of herself in a Candomblé center to announce the new video, which will feature references to her religion.
In response, she decided to bring forward the launch. Initially, the work would be released next Wednesday (15).
“There are already more than 200 thousand followers I lost since I announced my new video. It’s a clip in which I show not only my religion, but I also show the religion of everyone involved in this production,” he said.
The artist Gabriel do Borel who will also be in the project, is evangelical and had his faith represented in the video, according to Anitta.
“I'm still scared how time goes by and human beings are becoming more intolerant instead of being more accepting and respectful.”
The song “Aceita” is part of the singer’s new album, “Funk Generation “, released at the end of April this year.
