The Ministry of Health informed, through a note on Sunday (12), that “the process for recovering the records of Brazilians vaccinated against Covid-19 has been completed, without loss of information”.
According to the folder, “all data was successfully recovered”.
The Ministry of Health website (www.saude.gov.br/) suffered a hacker attack in the early hours of Friday (10) and went offline. According to the message posted on the address, “internal data from the systems were copied and deleted”.
All portals in the folder, such as “ConecteSUS” and “Portal Covid” are also affected.
The note from the Ministry of Health states that “the folder is working to re-establish as soon as possible the systems for recording and issuing vaccination certificates.”
On Saturday (11), the ministry had informed that the expectation was that the hacked systems from the folder’s website will be available again to the population next week.
Federal Police investigations into the hacker attack on the Ministry of Health indicated that the group also invaded the platforms of the Ministry of Economy and more than 20 federal government agencies.
