After debut in Cannes, “The Secret Agent” wins official teaser; watch

After an acclaimed debut in the Cannes Festival the national film “The Secret Agent” of the director Kleber Mendonça Filho won an official teaser this Thursday (22).

The political thriller starring Wagner Moura has already secured distribution in Latin America, the United States, India, the United Kingdom and Ireland, was cheered for 13 minutes in the film event, and received maximum approval from critics.

The release of Teaser, which was exclusive in some movie theaters in the country since last Thursday (15), was made by the showcase films in celebration of the debut of the film in Cannes.

The international press has already begun to highlight the film after the debut in Cannes, some even relating it to “I’m still here.” The presence of Brazilian star Wagner Moura also gives strength and visibility to the title in the Hollywood scenario, as he has dedicated himself to his international career in recent years.

The plot is set in the 1970s, during the military dictatorship in Brazil, and accompanies Marcelo, a technology expert, who escapes a mysterious past and decides to return to Recife in search of a little peace, but realizes that the city is far from being the Refuge that seeks.
