The company HMD Global did not meet the originally announced plan to update Nokia smartphones to the fresh Android 11 operating system, causing accusations and complaints from users.
And now, the company has unveiled in the official community an updated schedule with revised deadlines and new models added.
According to the new schedule, the Android 11 update in the second quarter (until July 1) can be expected for Nokia 3.4, 5.3, 1.3, 5.4, 1.4, 1 Plus and 2.4. The Nokia 6.2, 7.2 and 9 PureView updates are scheduled for the third quarter.
Note that the company has faced widespread criticism for delays in the transition to new versions of Android, especially given the fact that Nokia smartphones participate in the Android One program.
