After fight and end of tour, Jane’s Addiction releases new song

The band Jane’s Addiction released this Tuesday (18) the new single “True Love,” it is the second with the original formation of the group in almost 35 years. In July, the band released “Imminent Redemption”.

The new song comes shortly after the group canceled their reunion tour. The band, led by Perry Farrell, also the creator of the Lollapalooza festival, informed fans of the decision via a statement on Instagram.

“To all of our fans, the band has made the difficult decision to take a break. As such, we will be canceling all remaining tour dates,” the post reads. The band’s profile also blocked comments on the post.

At the time, the band did not inform the reason for the cancellation, but the statement came after the fight between guitarist Dave Navarro, 57, and Perry at a show last Friday (13), in Boston, in the United States.

Perry Farrell took to social media to apologize: “This weekend has been incredibly difficult to have the time and space to reflect, it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday’s show.”
