The change takes place in seats 26A on the 174-seat A321 models and 31A on the 195-seat models, the airline said in a statement. These seats are near the center of the plane, near the left side doors of the single-aisle aircraft.
“This measure is a safety precaution and applies even if the flight is full,” reads the statement. The corresponding seat on the right side is where flight attendants sit for takeoff and landing.

Video of the incident showed the wind blowing into the cabin as passengers gripped their armrests. 200 people were on board, including 194 passengers, according to Asiana Airlines.
According to the Fire Department, 12 people suffered minor injuries due to hyperventilation and nine of them were sent to hospitals in the region. The jet was on a flight from Jeju Island off the coast of South Korea to Daegu.
