The Lula government is considering doing away with the Institutional Security Office (GSI) of the Presidency of the Republic, according to sources close to the president heard this Wednesday (19) by CNN.
Still according to allies of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), there was a breach of trust; the president does not believe in the current GSI, and investigations will help him make the decision.
The chief minister of the GSI, General Gonçalves Dias, resigned after CNN’s exclusive report showed images of him in the Planalto Palace during the invasion on January 8.
