The strong storm that hit the ABC region-the Greater São Paulo-this Monday (31) caused the partial interruption of the circulation of trains on line 10-Turquoise of the Paulista Metropolitan Trains Company (CPTM), which connects the municipality of Rio Grande da Serra to the central area of the state capital.
Since 2:50 pm, the trains are not circulating between the Mauá and Utinga stations. “To serve passengers on the interrupted stretch, 30 Paese system buses were requested,” says CPTM.
The course of line 10-Turquoise is made on the banks of the Tamanduitaí River, which flooded. The Avenida dos Estados, one of the main connections between ABC and the city of São Paulo, was taken by water.
