Pacino’s rep confirmed the news to several media outlets, including People, The Hollywood Reporter and E!.
The actor has three other children – two with Beverly D’Angelo and one with Jan Tarrant .
In 2014, Pacino told the New Yorker magazine how his father leaving him and his mother when he was two shaped his relationship with his children.
“It’s the missing link, so to speak,” he said. “Having children helped me a lot. I consciously knew that I didn’t want to be like my father. I wish I was there. I have three sons. I am responsible for them. I am part of their life. When I’m not there, it’s disturbing for me and for them.”
