An ex teacher at a Christian school in Florida, USA, which was embroiled in a sex scandal, is now accused of inappropriate behavior towards a student for the second time this summer. This time she allegedly twerked on a student at the prom.
Julie Hoover, who taught at Point of Grace Christian School, was arrested last week, accused of her behavior toward the student.
The 39-year-old was also arrested last June after allegedly exchanging romantic messages with an 18-year-old student.
The new charges come after what he said pupil to officers, who alleged that Hoover began dancing sensually, shaking her bottom, and forced him to drink alcohol at the high school prom on April 8.
He said he felt as uncomfortable as she did twerking, that other students tried to get between them to make her stop. At least two other students who intervened confirmed the incident.
The minor student also said the teacher forced him to drink by forcing the straw from her drink into his mouth.
It is not clear if the student with whom the woman allegedly exchanged romantic messages is the same one who made the new allegations.
The initial incident came to police on June 2 when the student’s mother found the messages in question, which had been sent in March and April. The distraught mother told officers the former math teacher arranged for her son to go to her house while her husband worked, according to court documents cited by the New York Post.
Hoover is no longer teaching at Point of Grace Christian School, according to a school employee.
