After the reactions, the sale of “Satan’s shoes” with human blood freezes

Nike wins lawsuit against Brooklyn artists’ collective over controversial “Satan Shoes” with satanic symbols and drop of human blood on the soles.

$ 1,018 sports are the modified Nike Air Max 97, which now houses an inverted cross and pentacle. The MSCHF team made them in collaboration with rapper Lil Nas X and said that only 666 pairs became available, selling out all but one.

Nike had asked for court New York to stop sales, as the use of its trademark was illegal.

MSCHF lawyers argued that the collective shoes “are not typical sportswear, but numbered works of art sold to collectors for $ 1,018 each.”

The judge, however, heard her request Nike and temporarily banned sales. Nobody knows what impact this will have, since MSCHF had stated that when the 666 pairs are sold, which sold out within a minute, it will not put another one on the market.
