The week in Afternoon session promises a lot comedy, romance, drama, 2000s classic, Brazilian production and mainly, fun for all tastes.
With films released from 2005 to 2019, TV Globo's programming will show great titles, with well-known names, such as Glória Pires, Toni Collette, Adam Sandler, Steve Martin and Jennifer Garner.
Check out which films will be shown this week in the Afternoon Session:
Monday (6) – “If I Were You 2”
The film, released in 2009, features the characters Cláudio (Tony Ramos) and Helena (Glória Pires), a couple who are about to separate. As in the first film, during an argument, they end up switching bodies and find themselves, once again, forced to live each other's lives.
Tuesday (7) – “In Search of Love”
2013 film, features masseuse Eva (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a single mother who fears her daughter leaving for college. She begins a romance with Albert (James Gandolfini), a funny man who is living a moment very similar to hers. Despite the similarities, the relationship is threatened by the arrival of her new client, Marianne (Catherine Keener), who becomes her friend, but is also Albert's ex-wife.
Wednesday (8) – “Fake Wife”
Released in 2011, the film features Danny (Adam Sandler), who, unhappy, begins to experience relationships without commitment to overcome his neediness. Thus, he lives his life as a successful plastic surgeon, with his best friend Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), a single mother of a couple, as his faithful squire.
When he meets young Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) and passion takes over them both, he invents, to try to win her over, that he is Katherine's husband – but that he is about to separate.
Thursday (9) – “Doze é Demais 2”
Tom (Steve Martin) and Kate (Bonnie Hunt) have 12 children and, after the separation of some of them, in the 2005 film they try to reunite the family again in a lake house where they meet an old rival.
Friday (10) – “Miracles from Paradise”
Christy (Jennifer Garner) and Kevin Beam (Martin Henderson) are parents to three girls: Abbie (Brighton Sharbino), Annabel (Kylie Rogers) and Adelynn (Courtney Fensler). Strong Christians, the Beams go to church frequently. One day, Annabel begins to feel severe pain in her abdomen. After many tests, it is discovered that the girl has a serious digestive problem.
The situation makes Christy seek at all costs some way to save her daughter's life, while at the same time moving further and further away from her belief in God.
