Afternoon Session: see which films will be shown this week

This week, the Afternoon session will feature adventure, action, drama, romance and science fiction films, with productions that were released from 2000 to 2022. Between musicals and animations, the afternoons will feature names such as Jackie Chan It is Hugh Jackman .

Monday (27) – “Kung Fu Yoga”

Released in 2019, the film stars Jackie Chan and follows the story of a group of teachers who go on a mission to Tibet, with the intention of locating the treasure of Magadha. However, the trip turns into a real challenge, with twists, mysteries and a lot of fighting.

Tuesday (28) – “With God on the Way”

In this 2020 drama, Amber Hill (Lindsay Pulsipher) struggles to raise her daughter alone after her husband dies in the Afghanistan War. Even though it wasn't in her plans, amidst life's difficulties, the character falls in love again and relies on faith to get guidance.

Wednesday (29) – “She Dances, I Dance 3”

One of the great musical classics, the 2010 film follows a group of street dancers in a competition to find the best hip hop artists in the world — something that will forever transform their lives.

Thursday (30) – “Whoa! Where’s Noah 2”

Released in 2022, the animation tells the story of Noah's ark, which floats in the open sea accompanied by his best friends, Finny and Leah, as well as many animals on board. However, after traveling for so long, many problems begin to appear, becoming a real challenge for the characters.

Friday (31) – “X-Men”

One of the most popular franchises, the film was released in 2000 and features Hugh Jackman in the cast. In the plot, the appearance of mutant beings causes Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) to gather a team of powerful young people, with the intention of combating society's prejudice and fighting against those who consider them a threat to humanity.
